The Uvex 2 xenova S3 95562 is a metal-free safety boot designed for medium-duty indoor and outdoor applications. It features a hydrophobic, water-repellent leather upper and a textile distance mesh lining for a comfortable foot climate. The boot is fastened with laces and includes reflecting elements for increased visibility in dark working environments.
The dual-density polyurethane sole combines a shock-absorbing PU midsole — made with 15% recycled granulate — with a PU outsole that is antistatic, short-term heat resistant up to 120°C, oil- and fuel resistant (FO), and offers excellent slip resistance (SR). The sole is free of silicones, plasticisers and other substances that interfere with wetting agents.
Protective features include a metal-free protective toe cap, metal-free textile penetration resistance, and a PU scuff cap (SC) for additional upper protection. The boot is certified to DIN EN ISO 20345:2022 S3L FO SC SR, offers ESD protection according to EN 61340-4-3 and EN 61340-5-1, and is uvex medicare+ certified for orthopaedic innersoles and shoe adjustments in accordance with DGUV 112-191. Sizes 35–40 are produced using a women's last. The removable comfortable innersole, midsole and heel cap are made wholly or partly from recycled materials.
