The Showa 379 is a chemical protection glove designed to prevent slipping and exposure to a wide range of hazards. A dual nitrile coating combined with an additional foam nitrile palm coating provides maximum protection from chemicals, oils, hydrocarbons, benzenes, and hexavalent chromium. The foam grip ensures optimum precision when handling wet or greasy components.
The glove features a seamless knit liner made from cotton and polyester, offering flexibility, comfort, and excellent finger sensitivity. The ergonomic design and gauntlet cuff with scalloped edge ensure a secure fit and easy donning and doffing.
Certified to Category III PPE, the Showa 379 meets EN ISO 374-1:2016+A1:2018 Type B (JKL) for chemical resistance and EN 388:2016+A1:2018 (4122XX) for mechanical protection. It is suitable for use in painting and spray workshops, chemical spray and treatment, coating preparation, and concreting applications across oil and gas, chemical, construction, and manufacturing industries.
