The Sioen 498A Softshell Alphen is a close-fitting high-visibility softshell jacket designed for comfort and protection in low-light conditions. It features an extra wind-blocking front panel for added warmth, one inset chest zippered pocket, two exterior zippered pockets, and one interior pocket. The jacket includes elastic cuffs, an elastic drawstring hem, and a detachable sleeves for versatility.
Constructed from a 2-layer bonded softshell fabric (100% polyester stretch outer + 100% polyester fleece inner), it weighs approximately 250 g/m². The jacket meets EN ISO 20471:2013 +A1:2016 Class 3 for high visibility and complies with EN ISO 13688:2013 for protective clothing general requirements, including protection against cold based on essential safety requirements annex II - §1; §3.7.
