The Chemdefend 250 is a disposable protective coverall constructed from a microporous polyethylene barrier film laminated to spunbond polypropylene. The fabric is lightweight at 60 gsm, soft, quiet and breathable, while delivering excellent barrier and repellency against liquid chemicals and biological agents. An electrostatic dissipative coating provides antistatic performance.
The coverall features sealed seams bound with a polypropylene barrier material for maximum strength and improved liquid and particle barrier. All elastication is fully bound and enclosed, reducing linting and fibre contamination. The design offers a comfortable fit with generous fabric in the underarms, chest and waist for unrestricted movement.
Certified to Type 5 (EN ISO 13982-1) for dry particle protection, Type 6 (EN 13034) for light liquid spray protection, EN 1073-2 for radioactive particulate contamination, EN 1149-5 for electrostatic dissipative properties, and EN 14126 for protection against infective agents and biological hazards. Suitable for applications including paint spraying, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, cleanrooms, agriculture, nuclear industry, veterinary handling and sewage remediation.
