The Chemdefend 250 capuchon is a balaclava-style protective hood manufactured from the same lightweight, breathable material as the Chemdefend 250 coverall series, providing an effective barrier against particles and liquids. The extended length offers comprehensive head and neck coverage, making it ideal for environments where additional protection is required. An elasticated face opening ensures easy donning, and the hood is designed to combine seamlessly with Chemdefend 250 coveralls.
The capuchon is suited for a range of sectors including spray painting in the automotive and shipbuilding industries, chemical and pharmaceutical manufacturing, cleanroom and electronics applications, as well as cleaning and decontamination tasks.
Standards and certifications: CE Category III, EN 1149-5 (antistatic / electrostatic dissipative properties), EN 14126:2003 Type PB 6B (protection against infective agents / biological hazards), EN 13034 Type PB 6 (limited protection against liquid chemical splashes), EN ISO 13935-2 (seam strength tested).
