Chemdefend 410.O/055 Type 3+4 AST

The Chemdefend 410.O/055 is a high-performance disposable coverall engineered to provide maximum barrier protection against organic and inorganic chemicals, infective agents, and biological hazards. Constructed from a polyethylene and EVOH composite barrier bonded to a spunbonded polypropylene structural layer, the fabric delivers excellent chemical permeation resistance combined with high strength, durability, and good drape. The garment is made from a highly visible orange composite for improved safety in low-light or high-risk environments.

The 055 model features a 3-piece hood, internal and external zips with two separate zip flaps sealed at the base, double cuffs with integrated thumb loops, reinforced knees and crotch, and fully enclosed elastication for comfort and reduced particle shedding. Seams are internally stitched and overtaped with the same barrier material as the main fabric, ensuring equivalent chemical permeation resistance across the entire garment. The generous fit in the underarms, chest, and waist allows comfortable, unrestricted freedom of movement.

Certified to EN 14605 Type 3 (strong directional liquid jets) and Type 4 (saturation from hazardous liquids) — passing EN ISO 17491-3 and EN ISO 17491-4 whole suit tests without the need to tape down the zip flap. Also certified to Type 5 (EN ISO 13982-1) for dry particle protection, Type 6 (EN 13034) for light liquid spray, EN 1073-2 for radioactive particulate contamination, EN 1149-5 for electrostatic dissipative properties, and EN 14126 for protection against infective agents and biological hazards. Suitable for industrial cleaning, petrochemical, pharmaceutical, sewage and biohazard, and first response applications.
