The Sioen 009V Montero is a one-colour offshore jacket with arc flash protection, designed for use in demanding industrial and offshore environments. It provides protection against heat, metal splashes, and electric arc hazards, while the anti-static fabric helps reduce electrostatic risks. The jacket is made from Sio-Safe™ Essential fabric (79% FR cotton, 20% polyester, 1% anti-static fibre, ± 350 g/m²), which is breathable, non-allergenic, and features moisture-regulating properties.
Key features include double-stitched flame-retardant reflective striping (50 mm) on the shoulders and arms, an extended back for added comfort, two loops for gas detection meters, two patched chest pockets and two slanted pockets with concealed press stud closures, and sleeve narrowing by press studs. The jacket closes with hidden press studs under a flap and includes one inside pocket and an identification label.
Certified to the following European standards: EN 61482-2:2020 APC1 (ELIM 11.7 cal/cm² – ATPV 15.2 cal/cm²), EN ISO 11612:2015 / A1A2B1C1E3F1, EN ISO 11611:2015 / Class 1 – A1 A2, EN 1149-5:2018, EN 13034:2005 + A1:2009 Type PB[6], EN 17353:2020 Type B2, and EN ISO 13688:2013 + A1:2021.
