Chemdefend 110 Wit Type 5+6 AST

The Chemdefend 110 is a disposable protective coverall made from upgraded SMMS non-woven polypropylene, featuring two meltblown barrier layers sandwiched between spunbonded outer layers. The fabric is antistatically treated to EN 1149-5 and delivers strong breathable protection against particulate hazards, with a whole-suit Type 5 Total Inward Leakage figure of 3.71%.

This coverall provides Type 5 protection against airborne solid particles (EN ISO 13982-1:2004+A1:2010) and Type 6 limited protection against light liquid spray (EN 13034:2005+A1:2009). It also meets EN 1073-2:2002 for protection against radioactive particulate contamination. The 50 gsm SMMS fabric is soft with excellent drape, and the garment is cut for optimum body fit with generous fabric in the underarms, chest and waist for unrestricted movement.

Key design features include a 3-piece hood, elasticated wrists, hood and ankles, a 2-way front zipper with re-sealable storm flap, and attached thumb loops. Seams are stitched for high particle barrier properties. The coverall is suitable for dust and particle protection, asbestos removal, construction, general maintenance, wood and metal processing, paint spraying, pharmaceutical handling, and fibreglass and resin handling.
