The Chemdefend 250 overboot features a PVC sole and is manufactured from the same material as the Coverall Series 250, making it an ideal complement to that suit. Constructed from a micropore polyethylene laminate on spunbonded polypropylene, the overboot delivers reliable protection against liquids, dust, and biological agents while remaining lightweight and comfortable for extended wear in safe and hygienic work environments.
The PVC sole provides extra grip and antislip performance, enhancing safety on various surfaces. The antistatic properties make these overboots suitable for use in laboratories, cleanrooms, the chemical and pharmaceutical industries, food production and processing, cleaning and sanitation operations, and agricultural and livestock applications.
Standards and certifications: CE Category III, EN 1149-5:2008 (electrostatic dissipative properties), EN 14126:2003 Type PB 6B (protection against infective agents), EN 13034:2005+A1:2009 Type PB 6 (limited protection against liquid chemical splashes), EN 1073-2:2002 (protection against radioactive particulate contamination), Type 5 – EN ISO 13982-1:2004+A1:2010 (dry particle protection), Type 6 – EN 13034 (reduced spray protection). Seam strength tested to EN ISO 13935-2.
