Spasciani Set Turbine TM 1702

The Spasciani Set Turbine TM 1702 is a Powered Air Purifying Respirator (PAPR) designed for breathing protection in environments where the oxygen concentration is above 17% by volume. The set includes the TURBINE 170 fan unit with waist belt and soft pad, a TR 2002 CL2 full facemask and corrugated hose TUR 803. Filters are not included and must be ordered separately in pairs — either particle (P3) or combined filters (A1B2P3, A1B2E2P3) depending on the application.

The TURBINE 170 fan delivers two flow rates depending on the filter type: 170 l/min for particle filters and 130 l/min for combined filters. It features an on/off button, four LED indicators for low battery, fault, and flow rate status, plus an acoustic alarm that activates when flow drops below 120 l/min. The rechargeable battery provides approximately 9 hours of runtime with particle filters and 7 hours with combined filters. A coaxial charging jack allows external charging and use of a spare battery to extend operation.

The system is suitable for tasks such as asbestos removal, work in dusty environments and crop spraying. It is certified to EN 12941:1998+A2:2008 class TM3 as a powered filtering device with mask and complies with PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425. The unit weighs approximately 2.2 kg with particle filters and 2.6 kg with combined filters, and is designed to withstand decontamination showers when worn and switched on.
