The 3M Versaflo TR-315E+ starter kit provides a complete powered air purifying respirator system ready for immediate use. Simply add a compatible 3M Versaflo headtop or helmet to complete the setup. The kit includes the TR-302E+ turbo unit, particle filter, pre-filter, spark arrestor, standard belt, high-capacity lithium-ion battery, battery charger, adjustable-length breathing tube and airflow indicator.
The TR-302E+ motor unit is a belt-mounted air purifying device that delivers filtered air to the user when combined with an approved 3M headtop. It offers two selectable airflow rates — standard flow at 185 l/min and high flow at 205 l/min — with a controlled flow rate that maintains consistent air delivery as the battery discharges or the filter loads. The unit features audible and visual alarms for low battery and low airflow, plus an LED display showing battery charge status, selected airflow level and filter saturation. The intelligent lithium-ion battery charges in under 3.5 hours, has no memory effect and includes a charge-level indicator. The system is rated IP53 for dust and splash water protection and is approved to EN 12941:1998 + A2:2008 (TH2/TH3 class).
The TR-300+ motor unit is compatible with 3M Versaflo S-series hoods and headcovers and M-series facepieces and helmets. It is suitable for protection against particles such as fine dust, mists and metal fumes, as well as nuisance-level organic vapours and acid gases (including hydrogen fluoride up to 10× the occupational exposure limit) when used with the appropriate filter. Typical applications include agriculture, chemical industry, construction, demolition, food and beverage, healthcare, metalworking, pharmaceutical production, pulp and paper, smelting and foundries, surface preparation and woodworking.
