Spasciani M 900 ABEK P15 Escape Respirator

The Spasciani M 900 ABEK P15 is a half-face escape respirator designed for self-rescue in the event of an accident in a polluted environment. It features a flexible silicone face piece that conforms to the face for a secure, comfortable seal and can be put on quickly, even while wearing gloves. The ABEK P15 multi-gas filter provides a minimum of 15 minutes of protection against organic vapours (boiling point above 65 °C), inorganic gases, acid gases, sulphur dioxide (SO₂), ammonia (NH₃) and its organic derivatives, as well as dusts, fumes and mists.

The respirator is housed in a compact, high-visibility polypropylene container with a 50 mm belt clip, allowing it to be carried on a belt throughout a shift for immediate access. The container protects the unit from impacts and weather exposure. The device weighs approximately 306 g (430 g with container) and measures 125 × 90 × 130 mm in its case.

The M 900 ABEK P15 complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and is classified as a filtering device for self-rescue against gases and dusts, ABEK P class 15 minutes, according to DIN 58647-7:1997. It is also certified as non-electrical equipment under the ATEX Directive 2014/34/EU (II 1G Ex h IIC T6 Ga / II 1D Ex h IIIC T85°C Da), making it suitable for use in potentially explosive atmospheres. The face piece is made of silicone, the filter housing and container of polypropylene, and the filter media consists of activated carbon and filter paper. Shelf life is five years from production when stored between -20 °C and +50 °C at RH <80%.
