The Climax 1730-C is a FFP3 NR D filtering half mask designed to protect against solid and liquid aerosols (including oil mists) of low, medium and high toxicity, as well as ozone generated during welding operations. The integrated activated carbon layer also provides relief from nuisance levels of gases and odours below the permitted TLV exposure limit.
The mask features low breathing resistance, even against fine dolomite dust that can clog standard filter media. It incorporates an exhalation valve that reduces heat and humidity buildup inside the mask, improving comfort during extended use. Key features include an adjustable nose clip, synthetic headband straps, and a foam nose seal for a secure, comfortable fit. The product is latex-free.
Certified to EN 149:2001+A1:2009 under EU Regulation 2016/425, with notified body number 2897. The NR (non-reusable) marking indicates single-shift use only. The D marking confirms compliance with the dolomite dust clogging test. Suitable applications include grinding, cutting, drilling of wood and stainless steel, painting, lacquering, varnishing with solvent-based paint, and asbestos removal. Maximum usage level: 50 x TLV. Supplied in boxes of 12 pieces.
