The Uvex silv-Air c 2310 is a particle-filtering cup shape mask offering FFP3 protection against solid, aqueous and non-volatile liquid aerosols up to 30 times the respective limit values. Designed for larger face shapes, it features soft material edges and a soft sealing lip for high wearing comfort and a secure, reliable seal.
The mask is equipped with an exhalation valve that reduces breathing resistance and minimises heat and moisture build-up inside the mask. A flexible, adjustable nose clip and a 4-point headband attachment allow an individual and secure fit. The valve and headband holders are partly made from recycled materials. The mask is compatible with uvex safety eyewear and fulfils the requirements of the dolomite dust test (D).
Materials include a textile headband, aluminium nose clip, headband clips made from 100% recycled PP, filter/mask media of melt-blown PP and polyester, a PVC foam sealing lip, and a valve made from 95% recycled ABS. The mask weighs 29 g and is certified to EN 149:2001 + A1:2009. Typical applications include woodworking, welding, handling of hazardous dusts (e.g. containing beryllium, arsenic, cadmium or cobalt), medical waste disposal, and protection against fungal spores, bacteria, viruses and nanoparticles.
