The Climax filter 760 A1 is designed for use with the Climax half mask model 761. It provides protection against type A gases — organic gases and vapours with a boiling point above 65 °C — and is certified to EN 14387:2004+A1:2008 under EU Regulation 2016/425 (control body Nº 0161).
The filter consists of a cylindrical black ABS body fitted with a round cover of the same material. A pre-filter with high particle absorption capacity is positioned between the cover and the base. The filter connects to the mask via a non-standardised thread. Weight: 124 g.
Inhalation resistance at continuous flow rates of 30 l/min and 95 l/min is satisfactory. The filter has a protective capacity tested at 1000 ppm and 30 l/min against cyclohexane (C6H12). This equipment must not be used in oxygen-deficient atmospheres (below 19.5% O₂), immediately dangerous to life or health environments, or where contaminants or their concentrations are unknown.
