The 3M™ 8822 is a cup-shaped FFP2 disposable particulate respirator designed for comfortable protection during drilling, sawing, and manual or machine sanding. It provides FFP2-level protection against medium concentrations of fine dust and oil- or water-based mists commonly encountered when working with cement, wood, and steel.
The lightweight design features dual headbands, a durable collapse-resistant inner shell, and a convex shape with a nose clip and soft nose foam to help achieve a secure, comfortable fit across a range of face sizes. The 3M™ Cool Flow™ exhalation valve reduces heat buildup inside the mask for cooler, more comfortable use, especially in humid and hot conditions.
The adjustable nose clip helps form a seal over the nose and cheeks, while colour-coded headbands indicate the performance level — blue for FFP2 in accordance with EN 149:2001+A1:2009. This product helps provide protection against certain particles at concentrations up to 20x the workplace exposure limit (OEL). It contains no natural rubber latex components and is compatible with 3M eye and hearing protection products.
