The Uvex 2 65022 is a S3 safety shoe designed for medium-duty applications alternating between indoor and outdoor environments. It features a dual-density polyurethane sole with a shock-absorbing PU midsole, offering excellent slip resistance (SR), oil and fuel resistance (FO), and short-term heat resistance up to 120°C. The sole is antistatic and free of silicones, plasticisers and other substances that interfere with wetting agents.
The upper is made from hydrophobic, water-repellent leather (WPA) with a textile distance mesh lining for a comfortable foot climate. The shoe features elastic laces, a foamed PU heel basket for additional stability, soft padding on the collar, reflecting elements for increased visibility, and a dust tongue. Sizes 35–40 are produced using a women's last. A removable comfortable innersole is included.
Protective features include a metal-free protective toe cap, metal-free textile penetration resistance, and a PU scuff cap (SC) for additional upper protection. The shoe is certified to DIN EN ISO 20345:2022 S3L FO SC SR, offers ESD protection according to EN 61340-4-3 and EN 61340-5-1, and is certified for orthopaedic innersoles and shoe adjustments under DGUV 112-191 (uvex medicare+).
