Uvex 1 S1 85438

The Uvex 1 85438 is a perforated safety shoe designed for light indoor applications. It features a breathable microvelour upper with clima zone technology and a textile distance mesh lining for a comfortable foot climate. The shoe is fastened with elastic laces and includes a foamed PU heel basket for additional stability. Sizes 35–40 are produced using a women's last for an improved fit.

The dual-density polyurethane sole consists of a PU outsole and a shock-absorbing PU midsole. It is antistatic, short-term heat-resistant up to 120°C, oil- and fuel-resistant (FO), and offers excellent slip resistance (SR). The sole is free of silicones, plasticisers and other substances that interfere with wetting agents. A metal-free protective toe cap provides toe protection in accordance with S1 safety requirements.

The shoe is certified to DIN EN ISO 20345:2022+A1:2024 S1 FO SR. It features ESD protection against electrostatic charge according to EN 61340-4-3 and EN 61340-5-1, is 100% vegan certified, and is suitable for people allergic to chrome. The uvex medicare+ certification confirms compatibility with orthopaedic innersoles and shoe adjustments according to DGUV 112-191. The removable comfortable innersole and insole board are made wholly or partly from recycled materials.
