The Pezzol Typhoon S3 is a high-cut safety shoe designed for demanding winter and industrial environments. Certified to EN ISO 20345:2011 S3 standard, it features a COMPO200 composite toe cap rated for 200 joules of impact and 15 kN of crushing force, along with a TXZERO multi-layer textile anti-perforation insole for lightweight, flexible underfoot protection.
The IDROTECH full-grain leather upper resists water penetration and absorption (WRU), while the lamb's wool WINTHERM® lining with aluminum microfilm provides high thermal insulation, keeping feet warm even at very low temperatures. The shoe carries CI (cold insulation) and HI (heat insulation) ratings for the sole, ensuring comfort across extreme temperature ranges.
The bi-component HYBRID PU/RUBBER ICE GRIP sole incorporates ICE GRIP technology — fibers embedded in the rubber matrix drain and absorb liquids on icy surfaces, significantly reducing aquaplaning and maintaining slip resistance. The HRO-rated rubber tread is heat-resistant by contact, self-cleaning, and features enhanced lugs for excellent grip. An Esolight 1.0 polyurethane midsole delivers energy absorption and lightness, while TPU protection elements at the front and rear add durability. The shoe is also antistatic (A) and resistant to hydrocarbons.
