The uvex K2P magnet is a helmet-mount earmuff designed for quick, tool-less attachment to safety helmets via a magnetic connection. It provides effective hearing protection with an SNR of 30 dB, making it suitable for environments with harmful noise levels.
Key features include continuous length adjustment for an ideal wearing position, acoustic decoupling through rubber-mounted capsules, and soft ear pads that ensure a good seal and high wearing comfort. The ear pads are exchangeable, supporting high hygiene standards, and the 360° rotation allows for convenient standby and resting positions. The capsules are made from ABS, the helmet connection from PE/ABS, and the ear pads from PU/PE-foam.
The earmuff is CE approved and complies with EN 352-3:2020, ANSI S-3.19-1974, CSA Z94.2-02, and AS/NZS 1270:2002, meeting the requirements of Regulation 2016/425 (PPE Category III). It weighs 246 g and is designed for use in noise levels up to 100 dB(A) when selected, used, and maintained according to AS/NZS 1269.
