The 3M Peltor X2P3 is a helmet-mounted earmuff from the Peltor X Series, providing hearing protection with an SNR of 30 dB (APVf 29.5 dB at 1 kHz). It is designed for use in environments with hazardous noise levels and attaches directly to many industrial safety helmets without the need for an additional adapter.
The cups are made from ABS/TPU plastic, offering rigidity and impact resistance, while the mounting arms are constructed from acetal and polyamide. The ear cushions and covers are made from PU foam and PVC, providing a soft, wide seal that helps reduce pressure on the ears and improves wearing comfort. The slim cup design enhances compatibility with other safety equipment.
The X2P3 is colour-coded yellow for easy identification of the protection level within the X Series range. It is type-approved under European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and tested in accordance with EN 352-3:2002 for helmet-mounted hearing protectors. The product weighs approximately 220 g.
