Climax 17-P Earmuff for Helmet Mounting

The Climax 17-P is a helmet-mounted earmuff designed to protect the user against continuous exposure to high noise levels, reducing harmful effects. It is ideal for full-time work in noisy environments.

The shells are made of tough ABS with a 20 mm layer of sound-absorbing foam inside. The ear pads consist of 20 mm polyester foam covered with imitation leather, secured to the shell rim with a cover that fits perfectly into the cup. The harness is manufactured from steel rod and allows height adjustment of the shells to adapt to different user morphologies. The support arms attach to the surface of a safety helmet. Weight is 308 g, with a headband force of 10 N and ear cushion pressure of 3500 Pa.

The earmuff fits Climax helmets mod. 5-RS and 5-RG (Model 5-P), Tirreno TX and TXR (Model 5-P Tirreno), 5-R Minero (Model 5-P Minero) and Curro (Model 5-P Curro). It is certified to EN 352-3:2002, EN 13819-1:2002, EN 13819-2:2002, EN 24869-1:1992 and EN ISO 4869-3:1995, and complies with Regulation (EU) 2016/425. Attenuation values: H = 31 dB, M = 28 dB, L = 21 dB, SNR = 30 dB.
