The 3M Peltor Optime III earmuffs are designed for use in extremely noisy environments such as airports, power plants, engine rooms and printing facilities, offering up to 34 dB of noise reduction. The dual-shell housing technology minimises resonance, providing strong attenuation especially at high frequencies. A large internal cup space reduces heat and moisture build-up during extended wear.
Wide, comfortable foam sealing cushions ensure an optimal seal and low contact pressure around the ears, improving comfort and wearer compliance during long periods of use. The helmet-mounted version attaches directly to a wide range of industrial safety helmets without the need for an adapter.
The cushions and foam liners are available as replaceable hygiene sets, helping to keep the earmuffs clean and extending their service life. The product is type-approved under EU Regulation 2016/425 and complies with EN 352-3:2002 for helmet-mounted hearing protectors.
