The 3M Peltor Optime II earmuff (H520P3) is designed for use in loud, demanding industrial environments such as airports, construction sites and agricultural work. It provides noise reduction up to 31 dB (SNR) and is tested to EN 352-3:2002.
The helmet-mounted version attaches directly to a wide range of industrial safety helmets without the need for an adapter. The large internal cup space helps reduce heat and moisture build-up, while the wide, soft foam cushions minimise pressure around the ears for improved comfort during extended wear. The cushions feature ventilation channels and are covered with a hygienic patterned foam.
Replaceable cushion and liner sets are available as hygiene kits, helping to extend the product’s service life. The earmuff is also compatible with the 3M E-A-Rfit Dual-Ear validation system. Cups are made from ABS, the helmet-mounting arm from stainless steel, acetal and polyamide, and the liners from polyether foam.
