The 3M Peltor Optime I earmuffs are lightweight, low-profile hearing protectors designed for moderate industrial noise environments such as workshops, sheet metal fabrication, and printing operations. They provide noise reduction up to 27 dB SNR (H=32, M=25, L=15) and are tested to EN 352-1:1993.
The wide, soft foam cushions reduce pressure around the ears for improved comfort during extended wear, while the large internal cup space helps minimise heat and moisture buildup. The stainless steel headband design helps maintain consistent pressure during use. Replacement cushion and insert hygiene kits are available to extend product life.
These earmuffs feature a compact, unobtrusive design that combines easily with other safety equipment. They are compatible with the 3M E-A-Rfit Dual-Ear validation system for fit testing. The Optime I is type-approved under European Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and meets the requirements of EN 352-1:2002.
