The JSP EVO® ALTA™ Baseworker™ Vented is a mountaineering-style safety helmet offering all-round impact protection. Its specialised ABS shell and expanded polypropylene (EPP) internal liner deliver top, side, front and rear shock absorption, while an extended nape section provides greater neck coverage. The helmet meets the mandatory shock absorption and penetration resistance requirements of EN 12492 and is fully EN 397 compliant, including an EN 397-compliant 4-point chinstrap designed to release under force if caught or snagged. It also meets the electrical insulation requirements of EN 50365:2002 (1000V).
Designed for maximum comfort and secure fit, the EVO® ALTA™ features the Revolution® Flex wheel ratchet harness that eliminates pressure points and keeps the helmet stable. The 3D-adjustment depth settings and adjustable 4-point chinstrap enable a precise, tailored fit for head sizes 53–64 cm. A replaceable Chamlon™ cotton sweatband is fitted as standard, with compatibility for EVO® cooling sweatbands for protection against heat stress. Dual side and rear ventilation in the shell and liner reduce temperatures by an average 2–3 degrees.
The helmet is engineered for maximum accessory compatibility, with built-in attachment points on the front, sides and rear of the shell for ear defenders, faceshields, goggle and lamp straps. The interchangeable front module allows selection of an integrated ID card holder or a logo-ready standard front for company branding. Additional features include a universal accessories slot, optional reflective elements, JSPCheck product verification, and a micro peak. The ABS shell and textile harness components are recyclable.
