The Climax Makalu is an ultralight helmet weighing just 224 grams, designed for work at height. Its construction combines an EPS shell with a polycarbonate sheet using In-mold technology, delivering durability and impact resistance in a versatile, lightweight design.
Strategically placed ventilation openings generate continuous airflow to improve comfort during use. The interior features breathable, removable and washable padding, soft on the front and upper sections. Three clips — two front and one rear — allow attachment of a headlamp. The rear ratchet system provides gradual size adjustment, and the chinstrap attachment can be opened comfortably with one hand.
The helmet is certified to EN 12492:2012 and EN 397:2012+A1:2012, complying with impact protection and puncture resistance requirements under Regulation (EU) 2016/425. It is tested for use at temperatures between -30 °C and +50 °C.
