The 3M Peltor G3000NUV is a safety helmet developed for use in demanding environments such as construction, agriculture, forestry and industry. It features excellent ventilation with openings distributed across a large area for maximum airflow and improved wearing comfort. The shell is made of HDPE and has a smoothly rounded design that prevents parts from snagging on cables or branches, while also helping deflect falling objects.
The helmet is equipped with a 3M Uvicator sensor disc that indicates when the helmet has been exposed to excessive UV radiation and needs to be replaced. The head harness can be rotated 180° for better visibility when working in confined spaces, and the short brim provides improved upward visibility. The ratchet adjustment system allows for easy, precise fit adjustment, and the sweatband is made of replaceable plastic.
The G3000NUV is approved for use at temperatures down to -30 °C and meets the requirements of EN 397:2012+A1:2012 with the harness rotated 180° (worn backwards). Optional accessories include a mining lamp holder.
