The JSP HardCap A1+ is a low-profile bump cap designed to exceed EN 812:2012. Its sleek design is almost indistinguishable from a standard baseball cap, while providing impact protection from above and from the sides. The HDPE shell is recyclable and the cap weighs only 155 g.
The removable castellated protective liner allows the outer cap to be machine washed at up to 40 °C for hygiene and extended life cycle. A terry-towelling sweatband adds comfort, and subtle reflective piping on all colour-ways improves visibility. Ventilation is provided by extra holes in the liner and two mesh panels on the outer cap.
A unique one-handed angled adjuster fits under the occipital bone at the rear of the skull, providing a secure and comfortable fit for head sizes from 53 to 64 cm. The cap carries the BSI Kitemark and is rated for use between -10 °C and +50 °C, with optional flame-retardant treatment available.
