The JSP HardCap A1+ is a low-profile bump cap designed to exceed EN 812:2012. Its sleek, baseball-cap style design provides head protection against bumps and light impacts from above and from the sides, with an impact resistance of 12 × 4 Joules and side impact resistance of 12 Joules.
The HDPE shell houses a removable castellated protective liner that delivers all-round impact protection. The liner can be taken out so the outer cap is fully machine washable at up to 40 °C for hygiene and extended product life. A terry-towelling sweatband adds comfort and moisture absorption.
A unique one-handed angled adjuster, designed to sit under the occipital bone at the rear of the skull, provides a secure and comfortable fit for head sizes from 53 to 64 cm — true one-size-fits-all. Ventilation is provided by extra holes in the liner and two mesh panels on the outer cap. Subtle reflective piping on all colour-ways enhances visibility in low-light environments. The shell is recyclable and the product carries the BSI Kitemark.
