The JSP HardCap A1+ is a low-profile bump cap designed to exceed EN 812:2012 standards for industrial head protection. Its sleek design is almost indistinguishable from a standard baseball cap, while providing impact protection from the sides as well as from above. The HDPE shell offers 12 impacts at 4 joules and side impact resistance of 12 joules, with an operating temperature range from -10°C to +50°C.
The removable castellated protective liner allows the outer cap to be machine washed at up to 40°C for hygiene and extended product life. A terry towelling sweatband provides added comfort, and subtle reflective piping on all colour-ways improves visibility in low-light environments. Ventilation is provided through extra holes in the liner and two mesh panels on the outer cap.
A unique one-handed angled adjuster fits under the occipital bone at the rear of the skull, providing a secure and comfortable fit for head sizes from 53 to 64 cm. The product carries the BSI Kitemark and weighs 155 g. The shell is recyclable.
