The JSP HardCap A1+ is a low-profile bump cap designed to exceed EN 812:2012 standards for industrial bump protection. It provides impact resistance of 12 × 4 Joules from above and 12 Joules from the sides, protecting against bumps and knocks in the workplace.
This flame-retardant navy version features an HDPE shell with a removable castellated protective liner, allowing the outer cap to be machine washed at up to 40 °C for hygiene. The terrytowelling sweatband adds comfort, while ventilation holes in the liner and two mesh panels on the outer cap provide cooling airflow. Subtle reflective piping on all colour-ways enhances visibility in low-light environments.
The unique one-handed angled adjuster fits under the occipital bone at the rear of the skull, providing a secure and comfortable fit for head sizes from 53 to 64 cm. The product weighs 155 g, carries the BSI Kitemark, and is rated for use between −10 °C and +50 °C.
