The JSP HardCap A1+ is a sleek, low-profile bump cap designed to exceed EN 812:2012 standards. Its HDPE shell and castellated protective liner provide protection against impacts from above and from the sides. The liner is removable, allowing the outer cap to be machine washed at up to 40°C for hygiene and extended product life.
A unique one-handed angled adjuster fits under the occipital bone at the rear of the skull, giving a secure and comfortable fit for head sizes from 53 to 64 cm. A terry-towelling sweatband adds comfort, while extra ventilation holes in the liner and two mesh panels on the outer cap help keep the wearer cool. Subtle reflective piping on all colour-ways improves visibility in low-light environments.
The cap weighs 155 g, has a recyclable shell, and carries the BSI Kitemark. It is suitable for use at temperatures from -10°C to +50°C. A flame-retardant version is also available as an option.
