The JSP HardCap A1+ is a low-profile bump cap designed to exceed EN 812:2012 standards. Its sleek design is almost indistinguishable from a standard baseball cap, while providing reliable head protection against bumps and impacts from above and from the sides.
The cap features a 5 cm short peak, a recyclable HDPE shell, and a removable castellated protective liner that allows the outer cap to be machine washed at up to 40 °C for hygiene. A terry-towelling sweatband provides added comfort, and subtle reflective piping on all colour-ways improves visibility in low-light environments. Ventilation is enhanced through extra holes in the liner and two mesh panels on the outer cap.
A unique one-handed angled adjuster fits under the occipital bone at the rear of the skull, providing a secure and comfortable fit for head sizes from 53 to 64 cm. The product weighs approximately 155 g, is rated for use from -10 °C to +50 °C, and carries the BSI Kitemark. Flame-retardant options are available across the range.
