The 3M Peltor H700N-VI is a ventilated industrial safety helmet designed to protect against small falling objects in accordance with EN 397:2012+A1:2012. It features a 4-point ratchet headband with a draaiknop (ratchet knob) for easy, precise adjustment, providing a secure and comfortable fit across head sizes 53–62 cm. The helmet shell can be rotated 180° to be worn back-to-front.
The helmet is constructed from an HDPE shell with an HDPE headband, polyester cradle, and a replaceable leather or plastic sweatband. It features a short brim for better upward visibility and is approved for use at temperatures as low as -30°C (EN 397:2012+A1:2012) and -50°C (GOST R EN 397/A1-2010). The H700N-VI meets the requirements of PPE Regulation (EU) 2016/425 and is CE marked, tested by RISE Research Institutes of Sweden AB (Notified Body No. 0402).
The H700 series serves as a platform for compatible 3M PELTOR hearing protection, eye and face protection accessories, including visors, chinstraps, rain shields, and integrated eyewear. Typical applications include construction, forestry, mining, oil and gas, road construction, and general industry.
