The Showa 282 Temres is a multi-purpose winter glove designed to keep hands warm, dry, and well-protected in cold climates. It features SHOWA's TEMRES® technology, which provides water-resistant yet breathable performance. The glove remains flexible down to -60°F, making it suitable for extreme cold environments.
The glove is constructed with a seamless knit liner made from fixed insulated acrylic and nylon, providing thermal insulation and a skin-friendly fleece lining for comfort during extended wear. The polyurethane coating on the palm and fingertips delivers a rough grip surface, enabling high tactile precision when handling wet objects or small components.
Certified to EN 388:2016+A1:2018 (4221X) for mechanical protection and EN 511:2006 (021) for protection against convective and contact cold, the 282 Temres is classified as Category II PPE. It is suitable for applications in construction, mining, utilities, refrigeration, plumbing, and municipal services.
