The Mapa Vital 124 is a chemical protection glove designed for splash protection with an average wear time. Made from natural latex, it delivers excellent dexterity thanks to the material's suppleness, achieving a dexterity rating of 5/5 according to EN ISO 21420. The glove is certified as Type B under EN ISO 374-1, providing permeation resistance against specific chemicals including sodium hydroxide 40% (K), hydrogen peroxide 30% (P), and formaldehyde 37% (T). It also offers protection against bacteria, fungi, and viruses in accordance with EN ISO 374-5.
The glove features a cotton flock lining for comfort and moisture absorption, a textured outer surface for improved grip, and a straight cuff. It has good resistance to many diluted acids and detergents. With a length of 30 cm and a thickness of 0.35 mm, it is suitable for use in the mechanical industry, food industry, and by local authorities for cleaning tasks, as well as for handling household detergents and assembling small dry parts.
The Vital 124 is classified as PPE Category 3 and also meets EN 421 for protection against radioactive contamination. Mechanical hazard performance is rated EN 388 0010X. The packaging uses recyclable materials with 30% recycled content to reduce plastic waste.
