The Mapa Ultrane 551 is a precision handling glove made from polyurethane, designed for tasks requiring high dexterity. Its reduced thickness provides excellent tactile sensitivity, while the polyurethane structure absorbs perspiration for improved comfort during prolonged wear. The glove offers outstanding abrasion resistance, making it suitable for long-term use in demanding environments.
The seamless textile lining (13-gauge knit) and knitted cuff ensure a comfortable, secure fit. The ventilated back enhances breathability. The glove is silicone-free to prevent marks and defects on metal surfaces and glass prior to painting, and it is OEKO-TEX® STANDARD 100 certified, free from harmful substances. Surface resistance is 1.3 × 10¹¹ Ω and vertical resistance is 6.3 × 10⁹ Ω.
Certified to EN 388 for mechanical protection (performance level 4131X) and EN ISO 21420 for ergonomics (dexterity rated 5/5), the Ultrane 551 is a Category 2 PPE glove. It is suitable for applications in automotive, mechanical and electronics assembly, food industry, construction, metalworking, and cosmetic and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
