The Mapa Ultrane 548 is a thin polyurethane glove designed for optimal hand dexterity and tactile sensitivity in light-duty handling applications. Its polyurethane construction provides excellent feel while delivering Category 2 mechanical protection in accordance with EN 388 (performance level 3121X). The glove achieves the highest dexterity rating of 5/5 under EN 420.

Comfort is ensured through the open-cell structure of the polyurethane, which absorbs perspiration, while the ventilated back and seamless textile lining help keep hands cool. The anatomical close-fit shape supports precision work. The glove is silicone-free to prevent marks and defects on metal sheets and glass prior to painting, and DMF content is within occupational exposure limits.

The Ultrane 548 is suited to industries including automotive, mechanical, electronics, cosmetics, and pharmaceuticals. Typical applications include assembling small screws and clamps, handling microprocessors, preparing cosmetics, producing pharmaceuticals, intricate assembly, and sorting small components.
