The Mapa Technic 450 is a chemical protective glove designed for repeated contact with hazardous substances, offering Type A protection according to EN ISO 374-1. It provides resistance to a range of specific chemicals including methanol, sulphuric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, hydrofluoric acid, and formaldehyde. The glove also meets EN ISO 374-5 Category 3 for protection against bacteria and fungi.
Constructed from neoprene and natural latex, the glove features a straight cuff, a textured outer surface for improved grip on smooth objects, and a flocked inner lining for enhanced comfort and ease of movement. With a length of 41 cm and a thickness of 0.75 mm, it delivers forearm protection while maintaining high dexterity, rated 5/5 under EN 420.
Mechanical protection performance is rated EN 388 2121X, with abrasion resistance level 2, cut resistance level 1, tear resistance level 2, and puncture resistance level 1. The glove is suitable for use in automotive and mechanical industries, chemical handling, industrial cleaning and maintenance, adhesive preparation, fertilizer spreading, and battery production.
