The Mapa Jersette 301 is a chemical protection glove designed for prolonged use in aggressive environments. It is made from FSC®-certified latex and features a seamless textile lining for excellent comfort and freedom of movement thanks to its anatomical cut. The glove has a thickness of 1.15 mm and a feston cuff.
It provides protection against a wide range of diluted acids and bases, with specific breakthrough performance against sodium hydroxide 40% (K), hydrogen peroxide 30% (P), and formaldehyde 37% (T) as classified under EN ISO 374-1 Type B. The glove is silicone-free to prevent marks and defects on metal surfaces and glass prior to painting.
Mechanical protection is rated EN 388: 2131X (abrasion 2, cut 1, tear 3, puncture 1). It also offers limited flame protection rated EN 407: X1XXXX (contact heat level 1). Dexterity is rated 5/5 according to EN ISO 21420. The inner finish is textile-reinforced and the outer surface features a dotted grip pattern. Suitable applications include construction (mortar and cement handling), aviation (working with composite resins), and municipal cleaning (handling household detergents).
