The Mapa Harpon 325 is a Category 3 chemical protection glove made from natural latex, designed for prolonged contact and continuous wear in aggressive environments. It provides Type B chemical permeation resistance against specific chemicals including sodium hydroxide 40% (K), hydrogen peroxide 30% (P), and formaldehyde 37% (T), certified to EN ISO 374-1.
The glove features a long feston cuff for enhanced forearm protection, a textile lining for comfort and thermal insulation, and a reinforced grip exterior for secure handling of heavy, rough, or slippery objects. It delivers high abrasion resistance (EN 388 level 3) for optimal service life and is silicone-free to prevent marks and defects on metal sheets and glass prior to painting.
Certified to EN 388 (3141X) for mechanical hazards, EN 407 (X2XXXX) for thermal hazards (contact heat level 2), and EN ISO 21420 for dexterity (5/5), the Harpon 325 is suited for applications in the fishing industry such as handling fish, oyster production, and working with frozen products. The glove is 37 cm long, 1.35 mm thick, and comes in orange.
