The Mapa Butoflex 652 is a chemical protection glove made from butyl rubber, designed for short-duration use in demanding chemical environments. It provides Type A protection according to EN ISO 374-1, with tested breakthrough resistance against a wide range of specific chemicals including methanol, acetone, acetonitrile, ethyl acetate, sulphuric acid, nitric acid, acetic acid, ammonia and hydrofluoric acid. The glove also offers protection against micro-organisms (EN ISO 374-5) and electrostatic discharge (EN 16350), making it suitable for handling electronic devices.
The Butoflex 652 delivers exceptional flexibility and dexterity for a chemical glove, with a smooth inner and outer finish and a rolled cuff for easy donning. It is silicone-free to prevent contamination and defects on metal surfaces and glass prior to painting or coating. The glove measures 35 cm in length with a thickness of 0.70 mm and is available in black.
Certified to Category III (PPE Regulation), the glove carries CE type examination certificate 0075/014/162/08/24/1990 issued by CTC (notified body 0075) and quality label 0334 from Asqual. It is intended for use in mechanical, chemical, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries, including metal processing, paint and ink mixing, chemical handling and laboratory work.
