The Mapa Alto Plus 260 is a chemical protective glove designed for prolonged contact or immersion in chemical environments. Made from natural latex, it provides Type A chemical protection according to EN ISO 374-1, with permeation resistance to methanol (A), sodium hydroxide 40% (K), sulphuric acid (L), nitric acid 65% (M), hydrogen peroxide 30% (P), and formaldehyde 37% (T). It also offers protection against bacteria and fungi in accordance with EN ISO 374-5, Category 3.
The glove features a chlorinated, textured outer surface for improved grip on smooth objects and a cotton flock lining for comfort and moisture absorption. It is silicone-free to prevent marks and defects on metal surfaces and glass prior to painting. With a length of 32 cm and a thickness of 0.8 mm, it delivers a dexterity rating of 5/5 according to EN 420.
Mechanical protection is rated EN 388 2120X, indicating resistance to abrasion, tear, and puncture. The glove is suitable for use in the chemical industry, aviation sector, and general maintenance in wet environments, particularly for handling resins, adhesives, and composite materials.
