The Mapa Alto 405 is a liquid-tight chemical protection glove designed for frequent contact with aggressive chemicals and biological hazards. It features Pylote's antibacterial technology that limits cross-contamination by viruses and bacteria, destroying 99% of viruses (ISO 21702:2019) and 99.99% of bacteria (JIS Z 2801) on the glove surface.
The glove is made from neoprene and natural latex with a thickness of 0.7 mm and a length of 33 cm. The exterior has a non-slip relief structure for secure grip, while the interior is lined with flocked cotton for comfort and perspiration absorption. The reduced thickness provides good tactile sensitivity for precision tasks.
Certified to EN ISO 374-1 Type B (tested against K: sodium hydroxide 40%, M: nitric acid 65%, T: formaldehyde 37%), EN ISO 374-5 for protection against bacteria, moulds and viruses, EN 421 Category 3 for radioactive contamination, and EN 388 (2110X) for mechanical hazards. Dexterity rated 5/5 according to EN ISO 21420. The antimicrobial treatment remains active throughout the expected lifespan of the glove.
