The Ansell Hylite 47-400 is an industrial work glove featuring a three-quarter nitrile coating designed for medium-duty applications. Its pre-shaped design follows natural hand contours and includes an interlock-knitted cotton lining for superior comfort and ergonomics.
The nitrile formulation delivers strong mechanical protection, abrasion resistance and oil repellency while maintaining high flexibility. These gloves outperform cotton alternatives by a margin of 12 to 1, light leather gloves by 5 to 1, and PVC-coated gloves by 3 to 1 in durability.
Silicone-free construction ensures clean, contamination-free handling of metal, making the Hylite 47-400 ideal for metal sheet manipulation, chassis assembly, end assembly and inspection tasks in the automotive, machinery and metal manufacturing sectors. The gloves meet ANSI/ISEA 105-2024 (4 2 A1) and EN 388:2016 +A1:2018 (3111A) standards and comply with EN ISO 21420:2020 and REACH.
