The Ansell AlphaTec 87-900 is a heavy-duty, bi-colour protective glove constructed from a blend of natural rubber latex and neoprene. This dual-dipped construction provides reliable protection against a broad range of hazardous chemicals, making it suitable for demanding industrial applications in sectors such as automotive, chemical processing, oil and gas, and infrastructure maintenance.
With a thickness of 0.68 mm (27 mil), the glove offers enhanced durability and robustness for heavy-duty tasks. The honeycomb grip pattern ensures a firm, reliable hold in both wet and dry conditions. The interior features a high-quality 100% cotton flock lining that helps reduce the risk of skin irritation and improves wearer comfort during extended use.
The AlphaTec 87-900 meets multiple European safety standards: EN ISO 374-1:2016 (permeation resistance, classification AKLNPT), EN ISO 374-5:2016 (protection against micro-organisms), EN 388:2016+A1:2018 (mechanical protection, level 2110A), and EN 421:2010 (protection against ionizing radiation). It is CE certified (0493) under PPE Category III and complies with REACH regulations. The glove has an AQL of 1.5. Previously known as Bi-Colour 87-900.
