The Ansell AlphaTec 37-900 is a nitrile glove designed for hand protection against chemical hazards. It features a flocked liner for comfort and a reversed lozenge pattern on the palm for improved grip. Each glove is individually air pressure tested for pinholes to ensure integrity.
The glove is certified to EN 374:2003 for chemical permeation resistance and EN 388:2003 for mechanical protection (performance level 4 1 0 2). It meets EN 420:2003 + A1:2009 general requirements and is classified as "Complex Design" PPE under European Directive 89/686/EEC, providing protection against mortal risks. The Acceptable Quality Level for liquidproofness is 0.065 (EN performance level 3).
With a thickness of 0.425 mm and a length of 380 mm, the AlphaTec 37-900 offers very good dexterity and excellent physical properties. It is not suitable for use against flames or at temperatures below -25°C or above 100°C, and provides poor protection against aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many ketones.
