The Climax 10M-A is a retractable fall arrester designed for vertical and horizontal use. It features an automatic inertia braking system that allows the user to move freely within a wide working area while providing protection against falls from height. Once attached to a secure anchor point, the device offers maximum mobility, safety and comfort when working on slopes, roofs and in confined spaces.
The unit consists of a Climax 30 symmetrical connector with manual threaded locking (16 mm opening), a polyamide housing with fibreglass reinforcement, an integrated energy absorber, and a 4.8 mm diameter galvanised steel cable with a length of 10 metres. The lower end is fitted with a steel swivel connector with an automatic locking system and a 19 mm opening.
The device is certified to EN 360:2002 and RFU CNB/P/11.060, with notified body 0598. The theoretical service life of the equipment is 15 years from the date of manufacture. Maximum user weight is 120 kg.
