3M Protecta 1161628 Belt Harness

The 3M™ Protecta® 1161628 is a comfort work positioning belt harness from the P200 series, designed for hands-free work at height when used with positioning safety lines. It features a body belt with horizontal leg straps and is rated to CE EN 358 and CE EN 361.

The harness includes a conveniently placed front D-ring to help keep you balanced and centred, plus back and side D-rings for versatile attachment points. Softer, more robust hip padding is three times thicker than the previous model for extra comfort, and a durable, sturdy belt provides support when carrying a tool bag. Hinged rings on the horizontal leg straps allow upper and lower body rotation for greater freedom of movement, while the swivel belt enables movement within the harness during connected or positioned work.

Impact indicators make it easy to inspect the harness for damage, and covered identification labels help protect important information throughout the product's service life. The harness features no loose-end webbing straps, helping you stay comfortable without tangles. Tool attachment loops allow tools to be secured when working at height. All metal hardware — including D-rings, chest and leg buckles, and torso buckles — is made from steel with a black electroplated zinc finish. The harness weighs 1.9 kg and is supplied in size Medium/Large.
